Security experts: Until Microsoft's fix patch for the latest 0day vulnerability in IE will be released the best way to protect PCs running Windows is to disable Internet Explorer's ActiveX scripting functions.

To turn off ActiveX script functions follow those simple steps (caution: Disabling ActiveX script function may cause some web sites to work incorrectly) :
-- In Internet Explorer, click Internet Options on the Tools menu.
    -- Click the Security tab.
-- Click Internet, and then click Custom Level.
-- Under Settings, in the Scripting section, under Active Scripting, click Disable, and then click OK.
-- Click Local intranet, and then click Custom Level.
-- Under Settings, in the Scripting section, under Active Scripting, click Disable, and then click OK.
-- Click OK two times to return to Internet Explorer.
    by the way,
It isnt the first time Microsoft and security experts suggest users to disable ActiveX as a result of a bug in Internet Explorer...
